Update from the H2020 project AURORAL: We are developing the SmarTomorrow Platform

We are excited to share some insights about our involvement in the AURORAL Horizon 2020 project, which aims to foster the digital transformation and smart communities in rural areas across Europe. Our Head of Development and future project coordinator, Mr. Christoph Hrdinka, was in Brussels on the 8th of February to discuss the progress of a novel platform for companies and regions, together with our H2020 project partners, where FEBEA provided the venue. One of the main outcomes of this meeting was the design of the SmarTomorrow Investment Platform, a tool that will help us sustain and scale up smart communities beyond the project's duration.

The SmarTomorrow Investment Platform will be a multi-regional platform that will provide financial support to various innovation projects in smart communities. It will bring together investors who are interested in supporting the deployment of digital services and new applications in rural and remote areas. It will also match the supply and demand sides and offer customized services to meet the needs of rural communities and citizens. The goal is to unlock 50 million euros from different sources and to implement our committed roadmaps.

We believe that this platform will be a valuable asset for enhancing the digital development and establishment of smart communities in Europe. We look forward to sharing more updates on this initiative as it progresses.
